IcePics Support

Setup of IcePics is very simple and should not take more than a minute.

There are only three easy steps via the Setup screen:

  1. "Your Name" - Type in your name. This is simply so the email w/ picture that will be sent to your contact recipients will be identifiable as to whom it was sent from. Any name can be input into this field and this field does not affect the apps functionality.
  2. "Your Email Address" - Type in the email address to which you would want a reply sent. An email address must always include an "@" sign.
  3. "Alert Recipients" - This field should include all email addresses to which you’d like the email picture/GPS coordinates sent. You may manually type in an email address or select an email from your address book. Be sure you select the DONE key when filling out the previous field (above) to see the "Plus" sign, so you can select from your contact list. Note: The way the "Contacts" list works on an iPhone is that you first select the contact name and then you must pick the contact by touching the displayed contact once again. (Note the button on top named "ALL Contacts" as this will return you to Contacts without saving the contact.) The reason for this is that an individual contact can have more than one email address listed.
